So my GP moto style ebay headers are starting to leak at the slip joints, I want to get them welded just cant seem to find anyone who welds stainless, any ideas? Also my intercooler rubbed a hole in my a/c line can this be welded or is the aluminum to thin? Thanks!

I can't help you with finding a welder, but I can give you advice on the A/C line. Yes, it could be welded. However it is just going to wear more when you put it back on. I had the same issue. I bought an STi one. It goes farther over toward the shock tower before it cuts down to go through the firewall. They are expensive from the dealer. I got one used on EBay.

Anyone who can weld aluminium should be able to weld the AC line, but fouronthefloor is right, it'll just rub again. You could also have someone weld up a custom line to avoid it rubbing any more.
As for the header... those slips are there for a reason. Get it welded up and it will crack. The slips *should* seal up once they get some heat in them. |

They will leak when cold, but once you start the car and they get hot, they should seal up. I would not wrap them, personally. I think the wrap would keep the heat in the metal instead of letting it radiate off... unlike ceramic coating where it keeps the heat in the exhaust, not the pipe.
