Restoring faded rear seat back
Back seat is in fantastic condition except for typical fading on the top. Anyone ever tried spray on fabric dye to bring it back to close to the original color? I'm tempted to try but don't want to make it worse.

Since nobody has tried it I will in a month or so and show the results, good or bad.

be careful with dyes, as they will come off on your clothes

I have used this on my back seat of my bugeye. I masked off the center parts and sprayed the top. It does make the fabric a little harder/stiffer, but it is still flexible. It does not rub off on clothing and has held up for a few years so far. I have some for my headliner, one of these day I will pull it out to spray, and I'll touch up my back seat again.
