Default Sellers/Buyers Beware - dtucelleski

It's amazing how people can be so cheap and so dirty that they'll scam other members just to get some car parts. I was selling my used BOV and this guy contacted me. He gave me this whole sad story about how his friend's car got jacked and he was looking to buy a BOV for him as a gift. Not being experienced in selling parts online, I decided that I'd use a COD because I figured that would offer more security. I was wrong! You can pay a COD by check or cash... and of course he wrote me a bogus check.

I figure I'm not getting my money back but I would like all sellers to know that COD means nothing. If anything it cost me more because I had to pay the COD charges in addition to the shipping. I will only accept paypal now to avoid any bull**** like this.

Again, it's so sad that fellow members would do this. The money isn't even the issue it's the fact that I went out of my way to get this shipped to him quickly and work on setting up a COD. I will definitely learn from my mistakes. Anyways, don't ship anything to:

David Tulleceski (if that's his real name)
6919 Newberry Drive
Columbia MD, 21044
443-538-2799

I plan to follow up w/ the post office and my bank to see what else can be done to rectify this issue. If anyone has unfortunately experienced something similar please let me know what I can do to get my money back. Thanks and beware.

you should file a criminal complaint with the local police department in columbia, md, since you know the real address it was sent to.

I just got off the phone with my bank. They pretty much told me that I'm on my own. I'm sure the post office will say the same.

Good suggestion about contacting the local police in MD. I guess I had to learn the hard way that NOBODY should be trusted.
