Cool Dyno Results Post here!

Ok so I'm probably the first one home and I already have my results scanned in

These are already corrected and therefor are rated at the crank. I wish I could have gotten actual wheel HP, but didn't know they could do it that way

Here they are:
<IMG SRC="http://members.i-club.com/UserPics\111\run1.jpg" border=0>
http://members.i-club.com/ViewMember...11&PicNumber=5

That link has a better graph, but the pic has better numbers

Not too bad, just wait until you see the WRX's numbers

Looks good. Why does it say you have no HP or torque until about 2800rpm?

They would start at 45mph then go to 112 in 4th gear.

WOW I've seen the graphs from the other runs, and there was a huge spike in it. That one looks a lot more linear. The previous spike was at about 3500rpm. I wish you could see it below 2500. That torque band is imprezzively flat! G

I would like to thank all of you guys for letting me put my car on for a second time. I appreciate it. My car actually ran much better on the way home. It was a humbling trip to say the least.

Yeah, I hit fuel cut and that was about it. My car ran with less power than my first few runs and we had to terminate several runs early, but finally got the car dialed in. It was nice to drive it home. I hope I didn't melt anything. Those guys are pissed for me saying the BPM isn't the best thing since sliced bread, but I don't really care. Curts car did run better, so it may be my Fridaay afternnoon production car. No, I wasn't able to squeeze more power than you out of it.

Shocker of the day...
Bolt on intake system makes 14.6HP and 13.1 foot-pounds of torque, matches stock power curves only higher. No low end losses, only more smooth boxer power. Charts to come soon.(with the help of Mr. Sponaugle)
It was really nice to meet all of you today hopefully we can meet up again soon.Cya,

????? Who said we were pissed? Dude! You aren't happy with your product for reasons that are very important to you. In no way shape or form would I hold that against you. I just happen to be very pleased with the product I received.

Ethan and friends:

Where in Washington is this place? How far is this from Vancouver, Canada? I plan to go down sometime in the summer for a dyno run. Do these guys have an A/F probe for tunning? (ie afc)

How much do these guys charge per hour?

Well I asked about the pricing, cause I'll be going back when I get my Tec-2. But he said about $150, U.S. , for the first hour and I think about $100 for each additional hour.

I would say its about 20min from Seattle, so i don't know 3hrs? from Vancouver.

A/F ummm I don't think so.

As for what Rexy was talking about, I believe he was talking about another post where he was talking about his gains/losses with the exhaust

What I still think is funny, is that the bolt on kit was only at 6psi, but made more hp than the tweaked wrx's. The wrx's made more torque, though. For the wrx, it still took 14psi to make that amount of power. You should have tried the bolt on kit at 8psi. You can still do that on premium pump gas. With just a 3 psi increase, from 5 to 8psi, there were "impressive" gains. It was enough to romp the WRX very badly on the same gasoline. Oh well, I'm just musing at this point, going off of what I see. I'm very glad I kept my RS. G

What's that Rexy? My bro and i don't get any credit for showing you where the 94 octane was at? Whats up with that? hehehe...

It was cool listening to that dyno wind up.. Sounded like a jet was flying overhead.

Waddaya mean romp the WRX badly!? He only beat me by 3-4 HP and held him off on the torque! I wanna re-match! <---- Note smile. Actually I was very suprised that The RS did not beat me in torque. With the extra .5 Liters of displacement he should have had me there. I would have loved to see the RS at 8 PSI though. After seeing ethans car run, it makes me want to turbo my RS.
