Smile Before boost:

This was on a Dynojet. So basically, divide the numbers by three and that's what it really is.

2001 RS stock EJ25, Blitz Axleback, 2.5" midpipe, AEM short ram w/ K&N filter, SAFC. I had just reset the ECU so we we're playing around with the SAFC settings. We ended up getting the best results by adding some fuel between 3k-5k rpms. I'm not a tuner so I just let them go to town.

Heh, I only did it once after those mods. I really don't even consider those mods so to me they are my stock numbers.

I'm probably around the 220 whp region right now.

Ok, so what dyno?

And agreed on the intake & exhaust not doing much. Stock numbers on a Mustang dyno for an RS should by just shy of 100hp. That's about 10hp for intake & exhaust. That seems about right to me.

Steven, get your scanner going and I'll bring my results over.

In case anyone cares, my numbers were 10HP lower than last time. And I've added the deadbolted turbo and Stromung 3CE. I warned Rando and Cobb 2.5 guy (sorry, forgot your name) the numbers would be low. Hopefully, they feel better after I did my runs.

Defintely would like to look into the whole Cobb 2.5 set-up, though

newscooby that was me, but it doesn't really matter to me what the numbers are. i went to help them shakedown the new software my only concern is that they read somewhat close to what others are reporting with a mustang dyno. the only way to worry about who has the top HP #'s is to have everybody (and i mean the whole subie community) run on the same dyno. so as long as you can go back there on some other day and repeat the results, i'd say within 1% would be really good.

FYI, the Mustang tech that was there yesterday showed me how to setup Taylor's Mustang dyno to give Dynojet results. If someone who has dynojet numbers for their car, and has not changed anything since doing so, I may be able to get you some free pulls on the Mustang to help my dial in the dynojet settings on it. Just PM me if you do.
