Default Unplug at OBD or at Accessport?

When wishing to remove the Accessport from my '02 WRX (overnight, at work, shady part of town, etc) do I need to unplug it from the OBD2 or just from the unit itself? Also is there any special procedure to it or just attach/unattach and go?

Unattach and go, it only monitors the ecu's data when not setting LC and adjustments.

Remove it whichever you prefer, does not matter whatsoever. You could also permanently remove it from the car and store it inside
