TR580 CVT Reman Valve Body?
Does anyone have a reliable source or experience with reman valve bodies for TR580 CVT trannies? Specifically for a '15+ Legacy.

Over the years I have diagnosed hundreds of Subaru CVT valve body issues in TR690, TR580, et al. 98% have been for lock-up duty solenoid failures. I would imagine most "remans" consist of replacing the lock-up solenoid and cleaning the valve body. Thing is without knowing what your model/year/symptoms/codes are any guidance will be useless. BTW: you really won't know if you fixed whatever you think is wrong - unless you have a scan tool that can perform the TCM relearn that is required after replacing the valve body. |

Timing is everything.....a recent Dorman email I received has a new solenoid for sale.
I use lots of their parts, maybe look at this. |
