Question After break in reset ECU?

Is it a good idea to reset the ECU after the 1000 mile break in. I read the the ecu will map driving styles and while i broke in my car i tried to never to sweep the tack past 4000rpm. I've got 1700 miles on the car now and wondering if I reset the ECU and take a couple fast runs it will remap and make the car slightly faster. Also is the right reset procedure to remove the negative battery terminal and hint the breaks two times and then hook back up terminal?

I reset my ECU after my break-in period. Disconnected battery for 1/2 hour (negative side), then let car warm-up for 1/2 hour without touching gas - then I got in and drove it a bit harder now that I could exceed 4,000 RPMs. Seemed to make a difference to me, as the ECU could learn from some more aggressive driving and occasional WOT. Wish I had a gtech to build a good baseline. Try it and post your results.

OK, I wasn't aware that the ECU learned, thats really interesting, ok, so how do you reset the ECU? I heard something about disconnecting the battery and pressing the gas pedal or something, or is it in the manual, dont have my manual with me at the moment (in another state with my car ;-) ) Anyways, holla back...
