Default JDM v9 heads chamber matching for 2.5

I've been trying to get in touch with ASF and Outfront Motorsports to no avail, is there any other shops anyone could recommend to chamber match my JDM v9 heads for the EJ257 I'm having built?

Check with Flatirons Tuning. They're in CO as well and may know a place you'd be able to drive to. Otherwise there's Headgames in NJ (IIRC) and Larry's Power in CT.

OutfrontMotorsports was somewhat closed last week. It was TX2K21 last week... Jeremy is back this week. I deal with him on a regular basis.

HeadGamesMotorworks in NJ is one of the best around. I live in nj and they are my go to for any cylinder head machine that I dont do personally. Ill be down there next wek.

Thanks for all the recommendations. When I get the heads chamber matched does it matter if the short block is bored to 99.75? Should I ask for the heads to be bored to the same size spec? Also OEM or JE ProSeal HG? I'm only shooting for 450-500whp.

No the bore and chambers don't need to be exact. In fact, having the flat material can be beneficial if you have pistons to match. The matching face is a feature we call "quench pad".

So you actually can get custom forged pistons to work with the heads and not need to do chamber work.

If going bigger bore, I would recommend some deshrouding of the valves however. This is an easy op for any head shop.

Thanks, I'm probably taking the heads to a shop called Performance Porting in Fort Lupton, CO this weekend, they were recommended by FlatIronsTuning. Since one of the stock cams was broken I'm probably going to go with the RCM Spec C cams but unsure about upgrading the valves/springs/retainers with them, if it would be worth it since they aren't an aggressive cam. The short block I already have from Woolman, it has JE FSR 99.75 pistons and Manley rods.
