Default Converting STi 6-speed to FWD only???

I apologize if this has been covered extensively before, but I am very new to Subaru.

We have a 2017 Subaru STi 6-speed transmission (TY856UW1MA) which we are going to use as a rear transaxle for a mid-engine endurance race car. We have seen the push-pull cable shifters that will allow us to shift the transmission in a mid-engine set-up (if you have a recommendation we are all ears).

Here is where I need some help. . .the STi has the electrically controlled center differential (DCCD, correct?). We have pulled the ailshaft cover and we see that assembly.

Is there a way to lockout the rear output shaft (or defeat the DCCD) so that we can send 100% of the power to the front differential all of the time?
I know there are kits/parts that make it easy to do this with the 5MT and non-STi 6MT manual transmissions, but I haven't seen a kit or part to accomplish this with the STi transmission.

I know a LOT of people might say why, or not understand why we are doing this. . .the reason is simple. The STi transmission is the best balance of affordability, durability, quality, and ability to handle our intended power level (~400 HP).

I know this is possible to be done; I have seen some examples here and there. . .unfortunately the ones I can find did not provide any info on how they went about the conversion and/or I have been unable to contact the individuals directly.

Thanks for any and all constructive help!!!

you might want to look into the 818, as it sounds like you have a similar set up, find out what they are doing and just copy it

Default Converting STi 6-speed to FWD only???

Same question as AtomicJoe23.

Have a perfectly good/wrecked 2019 STi and would like to transplant the 21K mile powertrain into my slightly less wrecked 1970 Porsche 914/Chalon (after ample beefing up of the chassis). Have watched the 818 thread and it seems to be using an earlier tranny. Of course, I can sell the 2019 and go earlier but thought I would ask if some enterprising individual has figured this out. Tried SubaruGears, Bremar, etc. with no luck.

Thanks for any and all input/ridicule.
