Oh man I have been watching this post and waiting for this. I have high hopes for the plastic fantastic. I wonder what the insulation is worth in terms of CFM on top of what should be pretty solid flow without casting turbulance?

Is there much difference from the 04 05 STI and the 06 07 STI manifolds?

Well if a plastic 08+ WRX manifold is what you need just pay me for shipping and you can use my spare..... You said you had one before but I'd like to know what the IM on my 09 flows for comparison

A fully build GSC cammed port and polished head long block needs to know if the IM can flow up top!

We can do it without muffing up the paint job.
We're planning on doing part 2 before new years.

Planned so far:
OEM Blastic Status: Have it
Ported Short Runner 2.5i NA Status: Porting it
Forsa Rear Entry SMIM Status: Have it
Area 1320's gaudy Cossie Status: Just responded to Area 1320, pending.

Any other suggestions?

Are you blocking the other three Ports when testing one?
Seems to me that if you aren't, the cylinders will appear better balanced than they are since they won't necessarily be drawing from the throttle body opening which will affect the test's accuracy.
When we tested all four runners at the same time we got almost a twenty percent difference in flow between runners.

Edit:
never mind, I missed that part of your original post. The picture didn't show anything. Sorry
