I've always liked Hondas engines, just not the FF layout - I really liked the S2k, but I was not in a place in my life where a 2 seat drop top fit in, so I missed out on that experience. Ah well, maybe Honda will try again when I'm looking for a fourth vehicle.

so basically my airbags are faulty. They have had the seats out of the car, replaced wiring, and it threw this warning no less than 3 times.

I am currently without my car now as it is in their incapable hands. Oh my car has 500 miles on it.

as soon as the Bronco is available I am ditching the damn thing
Damn, that sucks. Get them to buy it back if you can.

As said above the build quality is shockingly bad for a Honda.
I've always wanted a Type R, I regret not buying one back in 2000 when I saw one in the showroom. I hadn't driven one at the time, so didn't know how special it drove.

Two things prevent me buying the new one - one of my favorite things about the 2000 Type R I drove (a buddy's) was the spine tingling sound of revving to 8000 rpm. I'd happily trade the 300 hp in the new one for that sound. It doesn't sound special at all, almost boring. Even a base WRX sounds better.

The other is the looks - I like the look, but it's just too much with the 20" wheels and huge wing - if it looked like my Sport I'd be happier. I can't use that as my commuter/work car.

Modern Honda quality is worse than modern Subaru, which itself is below average. Amazingly, "**** quality" VW seems to do better than both these days.

Talking about its looks is beating a dead horse, but I don’t mind the aggressive styling. From some angles it really looks cool. But what kills me is fake vents. I can’t stand that stuff and one of the things I love about my Focus RS and my WRX is all the scoops and vents are functional.

The Type-R wasn’t out yet when I bought my Focus, but if it was I definitely would have given it a drive.

Edit: You know, I say that but I doubt a dealer would have let me drive it. It’s sad that you gotta basically buy a car before they’ll let you drive it

It's not almost boring. It's totally boring. When you combine the looks and performance with the sound it's a total WTF.

I actually really like the front view of the car, the side is OK, and I think the rear end is horrendous (but I could have lived with it). I test drove one about 6 months ago, couldn't discern much with the salesperson sitting shotgun, but it seemed fine.

My biggest complaints after looking at it were 1) Didn't like the gauge panel 2) Why did a "practical" car remove the middle seat in the rear?

I also drove a focus RS, and for a place that gets stupid amounts of snow, I would go with the Ford between the two. The cars felt essentially the same during my drives.

I haven't driven one but from videos is sounds just like my Sport.

Maybe they should have gone with 5 exhaust tips?
