Default Gear oil for 5eat transmission?

I was looking to have the transmission fluid changed and when going the the records from the previous owner of my car and found that at 92000 miles the transmission fluid was changed to Motul 75-90 gear and transmission oil. Since I've had the car I have noticed that the shifting can be really slow, especially in the morning to the point where I have to feather the gas to get it to shift. Even when the car is warmed the shifting can be really slow.

I see that the Motul Viscosity is 72.2mm^2/S at 40C and 15.2 mm^2 at 100C 100C. (1cSt = 1mm^2/S)
Amsoil Transmission Fluid is 38.5cSt @ 40C and 38.5cSt @100C

The Motul is pretty much double the viscosity. The gear/transmission 75-90 looks to be ok if used in a manual transmission, but I've read it is not recommened in an automatic. Could this be affecting the shifting?

And should I switch back to the recommened ATF?

Never mind, EFI logics solved this one, the work order wasn't from there shop, but it does say replace transmission fluid with Motul 75-90, but it was only 1 qt. EFI said it most likely went to the differential.

What kind of transmission are you talking about?

You start by talking about a 5MT then you start talking about an automatic.
You don't put ATF in a manual transmission or differential and you don't put gear oil in an automatic transmission
