caliper bolt
broke caliper bolt. recomendations on replacement?
oem or something else

OEM, dont mess around to much with graded bolts holding your calipers to the car.

Drill them out and helicoil the hole with new OEM bolts. My bolts seized and using my Hulk strength I screwed out the bolts with the aluminum threads in them. So I just helicoiled them. Worked like new.

fronts are m12x1.5, rears are m10x1.5. Front lengths are different on some years so get the correct ones.
If your threads are shot then you will want to have them helicoiled or timeserted. I prefer timeserts for that myself. If you have the scratch I strongly recommend having all of them done to save you headache in the future. @BlackFighter - I recommend you do this preemptively on your new track car. |
