Default 06 Sti trans into 03 wrx front wheels not spinning

So I’m not sure if anyone has ever ran I to this problem or would know what is wrong but I put an 06 six speed into my 03 wrx everything went in well it’s all bolted up to my motor cv axles in going on all gears blead the clutch and for some reason my car doesn’t wanna roll forward or backwards now, I unbolted the driveshaft and it spins freely in neutral jacked the rear end of the car up my rear wheels spin freely when not connected to the driveshaft so I jacked the front end of my car up and I can’t spin the front wheels because they have so much resistance. So I started the car everything was fine I put it in first and as soon as I start letting off the clutch a grabs and starts moving but as soon as I let off the gas it feels like I’m pushing my brakes, same in reverse I checked my E brake didn’t adjust anything in the rear and my brakes are fine and I didn’t touch anything on those does anyone have any idea what it could be I’m using 06 Sti Front CV axle‘s in my 03 wrx hubs and torqued to them down to about 165 pounds.

Are you using 5x114 knuckles to go with the 06 STi axles? look at the back side of the knuckle and see if the axles are binding against the knuckle.

Normally with this swap with 5x100 knuckles, you would use early 04 STi axle stubs, and use your original WRX female axles.

If this is your problem, you will need
2x axle stubs 38415AA110
2x axle circlip 805329010
1x Early 2004 STi axle seal LH 806730041
1x Early 2004 STi axle seal RH 806730042
& your original axles

Edit: look here, and also check the links in post #2

this right here. incompatibility of 2005+sti front CV shafts with your 2003 wrx front hubs. Better option to get a pair of WRX front CV shafts with male inner joints. Works with the oil seals already in the 6MT. Done.

I figured it out, if you keep the 5x100 you can use a set of 05 wrx cv axles got one side done and finishing the other tomorrow, the abs ring on the cv axles are different on the WRX vs the STI
