*SOLD* SC: 2007, Subaru WRX sedan; 71,295, $12,500 OBO, 1 Owner
2007, Subaru, Impreza WRX:
Exterior: WRB Location: Greenville, SC Price: $12,500 OBO Mileage: 71,295 on the Body, 18,275 on the Engine and 16,500 on the clutch as of 1/14/21 Transmission: 5 MT Info: Hey everyone I am the only owner of this car and am selling it due to the fact I'm about to have my first kid in March. My wife has been pressuring me to sell it for a while, and I'm ready to move on to a different car as well. Unfortunately for me, I have already paid to have all the issues fixed on this car, and now I have to get rid of it. I haven't pushed the power limits on this car, just upgrades to make the car peppy, but it's still a great DD, note it does have an external wastegate. The reason the engine was rebuilt was due to a cylinder 3 ringland failure. The car is stage 2 tuned by Drunkmann Tuning with a Cobb Accessport with multiple maps, speed density and MAF. Clean title in hand, smoke free dog free, comes with maintenance records, but overall all maintenance has been performed on time. The car was in Pennsylvania for 6 years and then the rest of the time has either been in Louisiana or South Carolina. The Good: Suspension Front Whiteline sway bar 24 mm adjustable Rear Whiteline sway bar 22 mm adjustable Kartboy front and rear end links Koni Struts (1440Sport/1351Sport) Brakes Power slot rotors Brake Cooling ducts (in place of fog lights) Stainless Steel braided brake lines Dot 4 brake fluid Drivetrain ACT Stage 2 clutch - HD/Perf Street Sprung - SB5-HDSS 16,500miles Kartboy short-throw shifter Kartboy shifter bushings TiC Unabomber's Sexy Rearend Engine COBB Catted Downpipe COBB Catback Exhaust Tial 44mm EWG w/uppipe Mishimoto TMIC Mishimoto Intercooler hose kit Cobb SF Short Ram intake with airbox Grimmspeeed 3 port ebcs Grimmspeed MBC (Hybrid Boost control) Mishimoto Catch Can COBB Accessport Turbo Blanket Walbro 255 Fuel Pump Engine Rebuild 53020mi Delete TGVs, Evap sys & secondary air sys DeatschWerks Fuel Injectors Top Feed 850cc Drunkmann Tuning Protune King Race Main Bearings STD King Race Rod Bearings STD Crankshaft - heat treated 79mm stroke JE Forged Pistons - 8.5:1.0 Comp ARP Head Studs Cometic Street pro engine gasket set BC I beam connecting rods with ARP2000 bolts Moroso oil pick up tube NGK Iridium Spark plugs - one step colder ACL high flow oil pump Mishimoto inlet boot Interior Cobb Accessport Pioneer AppRadio 4 (SPH-DA120) with Apple Carplay and bluetooth Low Profile Subwoofer ProSport Boost Gauge AEM Oil Pressure Gauge 52mm AEM Digital Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge 52mm Exterior Thule roof rack with 2 fork mount bike racks Rally Armor mudflaps - 1 is missing The Bad: The body has quite a few dings and dents on the sides. Rock damage in the front and some scratches on the rear bumper. There is a small rust spot on the roof. Center grille surround is cracked Hood scoop paint fade One mudflap came off, but I still have it and the parts for it Car was in a fender bender in late 2008 or early 2009 hit a rock on the side of the road, my car hit an ice patch, wasn't going over 15mph. Damage to the front bumper

Good luck with the sale, but I don't understand the reason.
With my first son, we had 4 cars. Honda CRX, E30 M3, regular cab S10 pickup, 2 door Integra. And we did fine. Later splurged and got a 4 door GC8. My son and me arriving at WBM at Nashoba around 2002 or so, once the Cobra was on the road. |

Holy moly! This is a great deal! I was looking for a GD/GR after I totaled my 2013 WRX last June and couldn't find anything that wasn't an 04-07 STi for $18k+ or 11+WRX/STi for $18+. I would've jumped on this if this car was for sale at time. I literally just bought a Mustang 2 weeks ago. You're really making me consider going to the bank or asking my parents for a partial loan. You got a great car man!

Lol.
I understand getting a bank loan if it was 30k miles no accident no rust on the roof and original engine but asking mom and dad for money to buy this thing? This 06 with only 16k miles for $15,000 would have been the car to buy if you're that desperate https://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-Subaru...X/284156176470 |

I just got married about 6 months ago, bought a house somewhat recently, and I don't know if anyone here lives in the DMV, but the cost of living is not exactly cheap. My Mustang sits in my garage, I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee i'm making payments on that I use as my DD, and the 07 WRX would be another weekend car. The car has 71K miles, 53K on the engine, and 18K on the engine rebuild if I read that correctly. I alluded to asking to my parents, more specifically my father, since I just helped him sell his Mustang for $23,500. If I go to a bank, I obviously have to pay interest on the loan, but if I were to ask my father I can pay him back relatively quickly since it's not that much money, and interest-free, but I just have a lot of commitments right now that I have to pay for and a WRX is not a necessity in my life right now. I can afford the car no problem in about 1 1/2 months, but that would mean not paying for current car payment, mortgage, food/gas/electric, etc. for the next month plus. That is the reason why I proposed a loan from a family member. You really shouldn't be so quick to judge. People have a ton of different circumstances in life and while $12,500 may not sound like a lot of money, there are reasons why it isn't as easy as just cutting a check. |
