Default New All in One Gauge. Boost/Meth flow, Meth Controller and FAILSAFE!! and other kits

Our new CMGS-FS WRX/STI kit has been released. Its specific to your vehicle and has great install instructions all of the fittings/wire/hose/connectors and so forth that you need for your install.

This system does the following:

1) Variable Control Injection based on either boost or boost and MAF or just MAF. Instructions on how to set up the injection are included.

2) Turbine Flow Sensor failsafe. You set the flow window low and high, the injection threshold (for example the boost, maf or dutycyle threshold) and set the failsafe wire to Normally Open (its normally closed by default)

3) All in one CMGS. CMGS will display boost, display flow, progressively inject and failsafe. You will see all the boost/flow/status of failsafe at a glance. The flow displays on the 10 bars across the top. By default each bar is 50 CC/M. You can change the default to 100 CC/M or 200 CC/M for higher flow applications.

DIAGRAM:

FEATURES:

1) SIMPLE. The simple nature of the CMGS makes it easy to install compared to our competitors. Due to the fact the CMGS failsafe output wire can be made normally closed or normally open you dont need a relay which makes the failsafe wiring a piece of cake. You can save alot of money by installing our kit yourself.

2) CLEAN. The fact that the CMGS is a boost gauge and allows you to remove your boost gauge and run this in place of it makes the intall easy and clean.

3) AFFORDABLE. Designed to be simple and affordable. Lets look at it this way. With some other systems on the market you have to decide if you want a MAF based kit or a boost based kit, (ours can do either or both) then you need to buy the failsafe, then you need to buy the flow gauge if you want to monitor. You likely have a boost gauge in your car or need one. This single unit is all in one. It makes it easy to mount, easy to install and simple.

Here is the setup guide. I think this is one of the most complete setup guides out there and makes this a true WRX/STI specific kit.

CMGS SETUP GUIDE RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS

Here is a link to the product:

Coolingmist CMGS WRX-STI KIT

In addition to tripping your failsafe the CMGS will display error codes on the screen.

"000" your fluid is low in the tank.
"001" your flow is lower than your low threshold.
"002" your flow is higher than the high threshold.
"003" you are flowing when you should not be. This will not trip the failsafe, but it will alert you that your flowing and should not be. you will only see this if you mis wire the system or accidently ground the pump or do something to cause the pump to turn on when it should not.

Any questions about this product, how it works or what ever let us know.

The integrated failsafe is great. you can set the threshold of either boost, dutycycle or voltage and then the low and high flow window. lastly, set the output wire as Normally Open or Normally Closed.

When the failsafe trips it will send the failsafe signal as well as flash error codes on the gauge.

"000" low fluid
"001" Low on flow
"002" over flow situation

let us know what questions you guys have.

The CMGS FS kit is $599.95

The VC2-FS kit is $499.95

Both kits include full the failsafe, boost and flow display progressive controller combo, 250 psi pump, water filter, multiple nozzle sizes, low level switch, etc.

With our digital display you will know exactly whats going on and with our failsafe you will be able to protect your engine.

no system on the market is as clean or as simple to install. We have the only water/meth system from a US based methanol injection company that comes standard with full failsafe, boost/flow display and we have the only controller on the market that combines the boost gauge, flow gauge, progressive controller and failsafe into one tidy unit.

See us at www.coolingmist.com

Take a few minutes guys to watch some of our CMGS / VC2 videos. If your in the market for a water/methanol injection kit and want the same quality as the expensive european brands at a much lower price you will not be dissapointed with coolingmist.

Here is a diagram. Just updated it to show wire colors. also, the diagram shows "optional MAF input" if you want to use MAF

We spent many hours engineering this to exceed our customers expectations. Gone is the need for multiple controllers, gauges and failsafes. With the affordable "All-in-one" concept that we developed with the CMGS that is at thing of the past. Who wants to look at your controller to see if a light is lit up, then glance at your boost gauge to see your boost and then scroll over to your flow gauge to make sure its flowing and finally check your failsafe to see that all is well. Who has time when your racing? How about one system that shows you all of that at a glance? You will never think of Water/Meth injection the same way.

new! here is the wiring diagram including the failsafe install. Nothing is more simple. The test mode connector is tripped by the failsafe causing the base timing to 0, ecu failsafe fuel maps and boost will be activated when you have a problem with the flow, etc.

Feel free to call us, PM us or email us if you have any questions. Our website is www.coolingmist.com and phone is 888-MORE-HPW Our WRX/STI kit is not a "universal" one size fits all. We really have a WRX/STI kit that is designed for this vehicle. Our instructions document the install on this specific vehicle and all parts needed for install are included.

Nothing is easier, nothing is better. Spend more and get less...or buy ours and get everything you need and more importantly what you want.

CMGS allows you to see your boost, see your flow rate and gives you your failsafe status in one 52 MM gauge. There is no clutter of 4 different gauges/controllers like with our competitors kits. Just one gauge that does it all. This allows our kit to be easier, faster and less expensive. Its integrated with more features at a better price.

Lets detail what we are talking about so you can really see what a value we are. Coolingmist defines value as Performance, Quality, Features, Engineering and Price. We define engineering as making things smaller and lighter...not having more features...except maybe having more features in a smaller package. Lets break this down.

A progressive water meth kit with a 200 + PSI pump will cost you around $450-$500 from one of our competitors. They will sell a failsafe for $160. A flow gauge is $140. You probably want a nice boost gauge in your vehicle, so thats another $100. Our kit comes with a fluid control valve, its optional in our competitors kit $40.

Now you can see with our CMGS-fS STI kit you get all of that in one 52 MM gauge for $625 and a complete WRX specific kit. you would spend $900-$1000 to get the features of this kit with our competitor and then you have the nightmare of installing a boost gauge, flow gauge, box progressive controller and box failsafe with flow sensor.

By looking at the above example you can see how ours will cost less. . and the quality is top notch (all CNC machined aluminum, etc). its because we engineered an All in one product. We did not have to design 4 different products which makes the product cost alot more.

Any questions about our kits let us know. You will not be dissapointed in a Coolingmist Kit.

We designed the CMGS-FS WRX/STI kit to be a custom kit for the WRX/STI with specific instructions for your vehicle.

COOLINGMIST WRX/STI INSTRUCTIONS

When deciding on a kit, you should look at the performance of the kit, your budget, features, support and overall design.

SOME FEATURES OF CMGS-FS WRX/STI:

SIMPLE INSTALL. There are many systems on the market. some systems require you to have a seperate controller, failsafe box, flow gauge and of course you would like a boost gauge in your vehicle. Our kit is all in one as a 52 MM gauge. This makes reliability higher, install easier, your car will look cool while still having a clean look. you will monitor and inject and perform your failsafe all from the same 52 MM gauge. This also makes your cost alot less.

ADJUSTABLE FAILSAFE: There are many adjustable params that the failsafe has. You can choose boost, pump dutycycle or voltage as your threshold. From there you can set the low flow and high flow window as well as the failsafe output wire as normally open or normally closed. There are a few other adjustable features as well. Connecting the CMGS-FS Failsafe wire to the test connector is a very simple and effective failsafe that will work natively with the CMGS without any additional parts to make it work. No relays, no opening up our controller to change the board values...just connect a wire to the test connector and set the ouput as normally open.

MONITOR: Coolingmist did not just want a system that let you monitor flow, Coolingmist is the only gauge controller on the market that lets you see boost, flow and failsafe status at a single glance. you dont need to glance over at this gauge to see flow and another to see boost. During normal operation the CMGS will display boost. If your failsafe trips, it will flash one of these error codes until the problem has been resolved:

"00.0" Water level is low (failsafe trips)
"00.1" Flow less than expected (failsafe trips)
"00.2" Flow more than expected (failsafe trips)

"00.3" System is flowing when the system should not be. You may have accidently hot wired the pump or trapped boost into the boost line. This condition would almost never happen but if you see it you should immediately disconnect power and fix your wiring. The failsafe does not trip when "00.3" flashes, its just a warning display.

INJECTION MODULE: The CMGS-FS can inject based on boost, MAF or boost and MAF at the same time. For those injecting based on MAF there is a 10 second built in delay at startup to prevent the system from turning on during vehicle sensor initialization.

The CMGS is fully configurable with allowances to adjust the curve (MIN/MAX Dutycycle), the MIN/MAX signal (boost or maf), flow sensor calibration (only necessary if flow sensor is in the trunk), voltage multiplier, bar dimmer and other features.

Here is a map to show you some details on the CMGS. There are many advantages to a coolingmist CMGS kit, it does not end with cost, it only starts with it.

The CMGS-FS WRX/STI kit addresses the failures of many other kits on the market. We designed an "all in one kit" that gives you the best of all worlds. Finally you can view your boost, flow, settings and failsafe status at a glance as well as have a simplified install.

Visit us at www.coolingmist.com and see what CMGS-FS WRX/STI has to offer. You will not be disspointed in a coolingmist kit.
