No Time to Troubleshoot Lost Boost - Recommended Shops in Pueblo Colorado
Replaced the small hose that looks like it has a small round cannister wrapped in foam beside the alternator as it kept on slipping off the connector. Since then, I cannot hit my usual 21psi of boost and it tops out around 18psi. I've gone back and checked all the connections in case I kinked something or knocked a hose loose. Gone around the engine bay with a spray bottle of soapy water and nada. I've even put the old hose contraption back in. Nada. The car otherwise performs well and pulls hard, but just tops out at 18psi. Accessport is plugged in and the numbers (DAM, knock, etc) look ok. My son and I leave on Monday morning for Colorado for his school and I may not have time to solve this one here at home. Is there a recommended shop in Pueblo that can take a look into this for me...maybe do a real smoke test, etc?
Thanks, Geoff

Geoff:
What do you think of the existing Subaru dealership in Pueblo https://www.subaruofpueblo.com/? Could not the dealer fix it for you? Buzz :-) |

Buzz,
Thanks for your reply. The Subie has mods that the Subaru dealership would frown upon and most likely turn me away. I need more of an aftermarket shop that caters to the performance Subaru crowd. Found a place called Revolutions Performance in Colorado Springs which is less than 40 miles away. Calls for a little planning and maybe a tow in an extreme event, but doable. Thanks, Geoff |
