Which wire on the TGV plug do I connect the white wire on the AEM gauge? I have everything installed except I am waiting to determine which wire to tap into for the signal. Thanks dude.

Hey,

I know I want to connect the 5v for signal, 12v for power and the ground. I don't know if I missed anything right in front of my face but I dont seem to be able to figure out which wires correspond with which pins on the plug.

I am looking at getting this pigtail kit to go with the AEM 30-0310.

I am hoping to wire up to a connector to avoid cutting any factory wiring. any help is greatly appreciated

Default Plx wideband?

I have a plx controller and wideband sensor and was told I could install the plx sensor in place of the front oem sensor, then use the 5v output from the plx box to send signal to the pin of the oem sensor that the oem sensor normall uses.

This way I could use the plx gauge to watch. Would the accessport be able to use the front sensor input for logging?

I messed up and bought a single bung downpipe, so I'm trying to find a way besides having an extra bung welded in. Local welders suck and it's my daily vehicle.

Can i leave the Rear o2 sensor plugged in for this

(Just with the required wire for the wide band unplugged)

Or would this damage the rear o2 sensor long term

Default How does this work with Cobb’s Greenspeed?

I’m looking to getting an Etune in the future and I‘m wondering if this procedure is still applicable with Cobb’s Greenspeed. How does this work when an emissions sensor (secondary o2 sensor) plug is being used to send the 5v signal from the wideband to the ECU?

It doesn't work with greenspeed. You would have to get tuned on the old system.

Default Gauge not working after wiring it up

I know this is an old tread but worth a shot… I tried this on my 02 forgot to ground the brown wire so it didn’t work but that’s not really the issue. My gauge isn’t reading any value at all now. When I turn the car on it shows (0300) then (L1.84) and holds that. Anyone know what the issue could be? (I didn’t change any of the previous wiring other then adding to the white 0-5v output)
