6 cylinders on wrx/sti ecu
I've heard people say you can swap a h6 motor like eg33 and use the oem wrx/sti ecu. Instead of piggy backing the svx ecu or a standalone. I'm talking about the GD 06 07. How do you trick the ecu into firing the other cylinders? Is this a real thing? Because then you could retain the OBD2 and drive by wire. I would like someone with experience to confirm this and then explain how. Thanks

Try the 'Six Swapped Subarus' group on Facebook, probably get much more info there.

I’d be amazed. If it was batch injection and single water coil maybe.
