![]() I'm not searching through 346 pages so I'm just gonna ask***8230; What's the widest wheel/tire setup you can run without having to roll fenders?

![]() Hey all -
I ordered a set of 18x9.5 +45 wheels to avoid any fitment woes, but was delivered a set that was +35 offset instead. The wait time was 5-6 months, and it would be another 5-6 months to get in a set of +45s. At this point I have been scouring the internet to see how I can make +35 work - some STIs have the fit dialed in and others look like small tractors. I am lowered on coilovers, maybe 1 finger gap between tire and fender on the OE setup. I was thinking 245/40R18 tires to pair up with these wheels. Would appreciate any input into if y'all think this setup would generally work. I don't particularly enjoy the poke look, so anything that would help avoid rubbing, with as tucked of a fit that could be feasible. Or should I just give up and wait another 6 months? Thanks! |

Rota Grid 18x9.5 +38 Conti DWS06+ 255/40 R18 Fit is great, no rubbing, no touching. I drive in Northern NH, VT, and upstate NY. Winter is real, and roads are crap. I'd probably be better off with something in a 255/50 if someone made such an animal, but that wouldn't fit. There is no way the wheels would survive long up here on 265/35s. The Conti's are about all the meat I could stuff in there w/o mods. (those are not scratches on the left door/quarter, something reflected) Last edited by WRX_XTR; 05-22-2022 at 05:09 PM. |
