Default Best roads on a road trip to NOLA?

Hey guys, I’m taking a road trip to New Orleans from Pittsburgh in November, specifically the week before thanksgiving. I’m going through a divorce and I really just want to enjoy my time on the road by myself for the first time since I was in college in a beat ass escort.

I’m just curious if there’s any roads/areas that other drivers have experienced headed that direction I should detour to see and drive. Whether they’re fun to drive on or just plain scenic or both. Thanks for the tips!

The smaller highways through West Virginia are both pretty and fun to drive. You could then cross Tennesee on 40 and down 55. Not the most direct. 59/20 through Alabama is boring.

I forget what road, I think 43 before 119 in WV is super nice. My ex-wife and I drove it 2 years ago to and from Florida. I know 43 is basically a drag strip right outside of Uniontown, PA lol.

I was thinking North Los Angeles. I guess it's the same thing to me. West of the Berkshire range. That's just LA and Hawaii and sharks in the pacific.

Lmao my bad. I honestly thought NOLA was universally known. My fault. Although a road trip out west I’d love to do, my friend is down south.
