2015 WRX Swaybars: Front 24mm, Rear 20mm. Apparently the rear is same as 2008-2014 models and can interchange but no one has done it yet.
I've got a 22 mm whiteline. Should I do it?

Yes!

I mean if it drives worse or you don't notice any difference you can always swap the OEM back on.

That said, I think it would be an improvement since the front is 24mm. That is a big sway bar and I believe the car might drive better with a larger rear that comes closer in size to the front.

I am thinking about doing this one too, but would love for you to be the guinea pig

I am hoping the crew at Turn In Concepts gets a 15 WRX soon, those guys are super helpful.

yes! so we can 100% confirm they actually fit. I don't think anyone has actually swapped a GR sway on.

If the whiteline is adjustable i'd put it in the firmest setting.

I would, because the stock one is already 20mm

The only reason I don't want to do it is because you have to brake loose those big ass 17mm nuts that are nicely oem torqued from the factory lol

Rally Sport Direct has already confirmed that the 2015 STI rear bars are compatible with previous gen sedan bars. I would imagine the WRX will be the same.

Default Disabling the DRL on a 2015 WRX

Havent seen this around the forum yet but before you go taking things apart under the hood like the thread here http://www.iwsti.com/forums/2015-sti...ng-lights.html
about this topic, just lay down on the ground under the passenger side front under the headlight assembly, look underneath and remove all of the plastic clips holding the mud deflector it's only like 7 of them and 1 10mm bolt, push up through the bottom and right next to the horn, attached to the support brace that holds the horn is the DRL resistor.

Just seperate the connector, wrap it in tape or plastic if you want and align the deflector back in place and clip and bolt it back together. 15 mins tops to do this

No need for a lift or ramps, its that simple

Has anyone figured out how to make the C LEDs DRLS yet?

i could be wrong here - but when i was checking out the car at the dealer, i don't recall it being particularly easy to tell when the C LED's were on in bright daylight. not sure they'd have any effect when used as DRLs

i know the highbeams are currently the DRL's at partial intensity but what i cannot remember is under what circumstance the C LED's come on - i want to say it's the 'parking light' - the setting before your headlights come on but i don't recall

The Limited's LED C's are definitely bright enough to be used as DRLs.

The problem is, the non-limited C's aren't bright so subaru had to make the highbeams a low powered DRL for all the models.

When its daylight outside and my limited has the parking brake on, the C's are very visible and bright.

hmm- maybe i saw a different model? i think i was looking at an STI because they didn't have any limiteds on the lot yet. it had LED headlights but maybe the C's were not LED? well i may be mistaken; clearly yours are good enough so who knows what i saw. i was more focused on figuring out what the LED headlights look like so i wasn't paying close attention to the C LED's.

i did have the thought that with all those other lights on the car, there must be a way to do DRL's using something other than the high beams but i guess i wasn't motivated enough to try and rig that up. could be that some electronic switch might exist that can activate a relay to energize some other light source when the high beams are sent partial power - but then pass the current through to the highs when they are sent the full power. doesn't sound terribly complicated but i have no idea if such a thing exists

this guy redirected his DRL's to his fogs. not a bad idea...http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2383843

possible that similar technique could accomplish your goals. i'd be inclined to just disable them; running halogens at 40% or whatever isn't the greatest for bulb life.

EDIT: i read further on in the thread that his method pulls the power BEFORE the resistor box so you get the full 12V to do with what you please. i'm sure you could tie the output to the LED's just as well as he did the fogs. give it a try; let us know how it goes!

I'm not sure if this has been covered, but does 15 WRXs share the same windows/windshield as 2014 Impreza?

Awesome info! I added it to the knowledge base. I'll be disconnecting my resistor immediately when I get my car...WHICH IS AT 4PM TODAY can't wait!!!

UPDATE: Also Added Stereo/Speaker information but need confirmatoin on the nav unit. Apparently the BRZ had two different types of nav units and I'm not sure which one they are putting in the 2015 WRX/STI's, anyone remove theirs yet to confirm? The wiring kits are different is why I'm asking.

Also I need to figure out if the wiring adapters to get steering wheel controls work from the 2014 Impreza/Crosstek's for both the base and nav head units.

Going to add speaker adapter info when I have someone confirm whether the ones from the GD/GR's are the same, and still need to find out speaker depth limits.

In the US, the BRZ both head units in the BRZ are a Fujitsu 10 unit to my knowledge with the difference being AHA radio support.

The 2015 WRX/STI looks like it uses this exact same head unit (Fujitsu 10).

I haven't been able to get my car to understeer in street driving, so I would say no unless you've had different experience so far. Car is absurdly planted.

Yeah that's why I haven't done it. Although maybe with the bar it would oversteer a little...

Go into a parking lot, lock the wheel in one direction and floor it.

You're not going to get understeer until you break traction, by definition. You have to be in a real hurry for that be be occurring on the street.
