34, stage 4 bugeye wagon owned since new (vf34 and supporting mods). Exterior mods include LNR carbon lip, JDM STi grille, scoop, fog covers, Volk GT-P wheels, roof rail delete, darker-than-legal tint, carbon marker light deletes, catless exhaust (well, you can tell from outside!). You can also see the Baer GT big brake kit pretty well from outside. Interior is pretty heavily tweaked too, from the carbon fiber dash trim kit to the $10k stereo system which has rendered the trunk pretty much useless.

I'm going to 'move up' to a 911 of some kind in the next 365... preferably a c4... not because I don't love my bugeye, but I can't justify two toy cars.

Plus, I'll still have my Forester.

I'm like a million yaers old.

I still mod my cars, and I'm currently driving around town like a redneck with no bumper, as I just took my FMIC off for an APS TMIC.

I don't want ot put the bumper back until I install my tranny cooler and a new cone filter on my CAI.

I'm stoked to see guys in their 40s, 50s, and 60s! on here. That's awesome. Stay young.

I'm 38 and like the body mods on other cars, but I'm all about the sleeper. My 2000 RS sedan just got a full 05 STi swap. Wingless trunk. And the scoopless hood is just waiting in the garage for me to find the time to install a black FMIC. Then it'll be real stealth.

Oh, and I keep my wheels and brakes nice and dirty. It's filthy fast.

But all you kids can have the attention so I stay under the radar - so to speak.

My advice; get all your mods done while you have the time, otherwise you'll be waiting for your kids to graduate college.

Wifey is 34, '05 WRX sedan, 4EAT ( she refuses to learn how to drive a stick, and, for that matter, if that keeps her from driving my car, all the better ) - factory wing, and on my '05 LGT's 5-spokers with Xi2s, but otherwise painfully stock.

My '05 LGT (5MT) sedan carries mild cosmetic mods (and also mild power mods).

Our original intent had been for me to get an '05 WRX wagon, but when I went back to shop (this was right after the wifey got her WRX, now nearly 4 years ago), I took a "oh, why the heck not" test-drive in the LGT, and just fell in love with it.

I'm 35.

At the time-of-sale, we'd both have been over 30.

34 here. Drive what YOU want to. Don't let society tell what you should be driving just because you've reached a certain age or career level.

vf39, perrin tmic, enginuity flashed, cantaloupe shooter hks turbo back.

agree with previous posts. age is mentality. it took me 4 years to save enough scratch to actually install the swap i put into my previous rs.
now my two jobs cover building an engine and a custom turbo kit.
besides, why do you care what your outside appearance conveys? if it's what you like, what does it matter?

32 years old, just paid off my '04 WRX. I plan of having it until I'm 37, at which point I will "treat myself" to a fancy "adult" car.

41 years old. 06 with stage II stealth back--only the downpipe and AP. Also have rear swaybar. Plan to get some wheels. Maybe some coilovers with a very modest drop. I like a stock look and sound to go with my upgraded performance.

I am 30, soon to be 31 and ever since I was in highschool I dreamed about getting a WRX. Just until recently I could not afford one. Last week I traded in my 05 RS for a 09 STi. I plan to keep it as stock looking as possible.

The guy who drives that has to be over 50 years old and lives near me.

I don't know what he has done internally but externally he has made his car a complete WRC replica. Everything from the widebody burn-up WRC kit and roof scoop to the WRC stickers.

He drives it around on the weekends, I think it even looks better with the older guy driving it.

As long as you are doing tasteful mods I don't think it matters what age you are.

+1.

I want to be happy when I raise the garage door in the AM, and I want to glance wistfully at my car, when I put the garage door down on her in the evening.

I drive (and modify-to-suit) what makes me happy.

There'll always be people who don't share my tastes, why try making them happy, when it's my happiness that counts.

Unfortunately the Uncle is right.... Alot of kids are getting them now. Which makes me a little

I will be 30 in September. I am at stage 2(AP) badge-less,tint wrx sideskirts with STi front end(brake ducts and splitter) and rims.

Going with a protune, new wheels and suspension goodies. I am not to concerned about out growing the car. I LOVE MY CAR !!! The fun factor, exhaust note the love for subies. Way to much to give up

My car is pretty low key, plus I drive like a grandma most of the time.

The exhaust is loud but my car doesn't scream "LOOK AT ME"

If and when the family issues fall into place...I might go with a Forester Xti if it does make it over to the states. That way she can't complain about kids and room....
