Default And I thought Monday's Were Bad

On my way from my car to my workplace, I realize that I locked my keys in the car! I rush to the underside of my car and find my emergency door key in its secret place. Okay, one disaster avoided. Phew!

As I'm standing up, my flip-flop breaks. Great.

My arms are full of stuff that crashes to the floor as soon as I get through the door. Including my lunch.

Then about 15 minutes ago I dropped 35 lbs. worth of ceramic platters on my foot. I've been sitting here watching a big purple bruise creep its way to the surface of my skin.

Anybody else having a bad day?

Did you blow out your flip flop, stepping on a pop top? Did you cut your heel and have to cruise on back home? Did you have booze in the blender? Were you able to render a frozen concoction to help you hang on?

the flip flop breaking was a sign from Jimmy Buffet telling you to screw all prior responsibilities, say it sure as hell is 5 o clock somewhere and fire up the blender.

Yesterday, I was trying to not have a bad Monday. So we had a spontaneous rum and coke party. It was mostly fun, but I forgot I had to live the next day.

So I sit here feeling like crap, trying to keep down water, 8am class, out of cigarettes (and money), and in a short while I am going to take a trip to the bathroom that will make it unbearable to use for the next few hours.

But yeah, life is great.

I have liquid feces because I have a lung infection for which I'm taking antibiotics that are killing all the digestive bacteria in my intestines.

So I go to the crapper and let a quart of liqui-poo fly, wait a long time to see if there's any more in there, then I get up from boredom and it feels like I have to sit down again.
