Default Looking for help on a turbo upgrade

What is the difference between a VF34 and 16g? Which would be a better one to get?

I have a '05 WRX with Up Pipe, Down Pipe, TBE, Walbro Fuel Pump, TGV Deletes, Paralleld Fuel Lines, and a Tune. Currently putting down, 230hp / 230torque.

Thanks...

Flow wise? They're about the same. Spool wise? They're about the same. The 16g is a mitsu turbo, which means they can be rebuilt. IMO most IHI turbo's are horribly inefficient, but I'm a big fan of the VF34. Either one would be a good pick.

I really enjoyed the 2.0 with an FP 18G that I drove. The car ran really nicely. I was impressed.

To each his own. I personally don't mind the lag of your car, but others might.
