![]() The other suggestion from here would be turn on res scaling.. use some of that RTX AI to find more performance overhead.

![]() Excited my stream now looks worlds better, and doesn't cause any performance hits in game. I didn't even stream my last endurance thingy because I was already FPS suffering.
Will be Streaming the Sebring 12H this Saturday morning starting sometime before 8am. As the schedule stands, I put myself in the car for second shift and second to last shift. We'll be running doubles this whole race. at the bathurst 12 we singled it out, but this track isn't that intense and have successfully doubled in practice without issue. We are up to 7 cars now.. There is a "Sassy endurance planner" google worksheet that is used by a majority of teams to plan the event. In this endurance discord is the author Sassy_mcSassypants himself.. He's a 6.7K IR, and ran so many endurance events years ago he burned himself out and went cold turkey on the actual racing.. just been focusing on managing the planning workbook. He's become the 7th car captain, and is just taking any late onboarding type entries. Neat to see him decide to get back into it and run with us, he's also one of the group admins and is a big part of them getting organized into a proper team environment. |

![]() It's in the video. MSRP for the pedal by itself is $800. A full set of pedals (Clutch, throttle, active brake) will run you a grand.
So half the price of the Simucube but still not cheap enough for me to run out and buy one. I'm more curious about Simagics offering anyways. Will probably still be too pricey. We shall see. |

![]() It's still in the realm of crazy..
Will keep an eye on it as product competition starts to happen. Mostly it looks like unless you're in the ecosystem, you're ditching whatever pedals you do already have. Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |

![]() After 3 attempts I finally finished a Ringmeister. 1st attempt I got caught up in a huge incident. 2nd attempt was a racing incident trying to go side by side through Swedish Cross. 3rd attempt I gridded 11th, managed to avoid incident after incident and finished 2nd with wheel damage that wasn't.

![]() Been trying to decide what series to run this season. For sure PCC and I think I’ll probably do a race a week in TCR for the credits most likely.

![]() Good luck fish!
I ran a 2.4hr IMSA Endurance race in GT3 last night (on a whim), figured why not. I was not on pace with the drivers ahead of me but got laps in and had fun, gained SR. No major incidents, got hit 2x for 8x and picked up another 8x of off tracks and one spin. Nothing gave me any damage worth fixing. I’d forgotten about the IMSA Endurance series - I will probably try to run more of these if I can. |

![]() Almost ran the 2.4, but kinda over practiced in the nights before and just took a break.
Out and underway, lost a few spots, a spin no damage.. going well enough. I'll be in next after this double is finished. Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |

![]() Yeah for me it was a "I'm not doing anything, its Friday, I'll grab a couple beers and just drive safe." The 2.4's have always been fun when I've done them generally seem to have drivers that know what they're doing from my experience at my iR. I was able to pick up 1-2s of pace over the race from where I started so not bad for getting quicker at the track. If I broke into :03's though I'd be surprised but I was not taking any big chances either. I ran mostly comfortable :04/:05's. Traffic management is a lot of the stress and that all went well I can report the only contact I had was with other GT3's, one of which was a 911 that braked hard and early quite often and caught me by surprise.

![]() Finished 7th. Spent some time up in third. I caused a slow lap to damage, a lap before my pit stop.. and took a minute of repair..
But that's mostly the total of our unscheduled stoppage. Both drivers ran it well, better than me.. final driver was on a 3x inc margin (cuz me) to avoid the drive through. And he did the first 30 min to get into fuel window to run to the end with no FFB! Was able to fix it and go no delays. He was using the Marvin's ffb app and it seemed to have stopped. Fixed by re-enable ffb in iracing. Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC Last edited by Fish; 03-22-2025 at 11:08 PM. |

![]() Did like that event.. track isn't too hard to deal with, lots of space and places for traffic to happen without too much trouble.
One of our LMP2 teams (purple) got the class win. Mustang (green) got 6th Mustang/my car (orange) 7th Corvette (teal) 23rd GTP 30th Porsche and other LMP2 not sure what they got. A couple teams had kinda turbulent runs from the green flag. Excited Nurb24/Nec are now the topic. Have Road America 500 up next too before Nurb24. ![]() The 9950X3d kinda killed it during the race.
Massive bigly difference being able to have stuff turned on and drawing all the things/cars. It ran really well in car, I only noticed some of the sunset/night period that I was seeing any type of FPS drop to 80-90's. Gonna drop some settings to help with that, they weren't drops that caused any real difference in driving. had my 3080ti staying around 75-80% util, only hitting around 65-70C. Running the 9950X3d on one of those Dark Rock 2 fan air coolers was sufficient. it was finding 80-83C temps, but it was still running at 5.3GHZ happily. Not boosting to it's full 5.7GHZ but still crazy just churn along well above 5 running semi warm. Not sure I'm going to really try and change it.. or if I do I'll shop for a nice 360 AIO with the cable'less fans. Was really cool during the night time running, I was spotting from a chase cam about 200 feet up and could see all the headlights and racing going on around the whole track in the distance. occasional far away spins and battles showing up in my left/right monitors. |

![]() My 7800x3D similar conditions during the 2.4hr was getting 65-70 when I’d be able to look at the bars. Day time was better but Sebring has a lot more stuff to render I think in the periphery. Good news is it was stable and not stuttering at all.
Tweaked a few things and tested similar conditions (actually while watching your race) and picked up 5-10fps. Turned HDR off so the sun doesn’t blind me. That helped a little too. I don’t think I’ll drop cash on more upgrades soon, I feel good enough. I want more but at the same time |

![]() Iracing is DQing Smurf's in special events.
Our overall winning GTP in Sebring was a 5.6k on his 1.6k account. I checked after seeing some online mention of DQ's, and sure enough they're removed from the results. Didn't change anything for us in GT3.. but it's something! Sent from my iPhone using NASIOC |
