Right. I think they fixed their system a little, but it's still flawed. The movie looks "fun". And... it's free which helps.

I mean this could go in the Prime Thread...but

Prime finally has Sabaton's The War To End All Wars." You either need to be a Sabaton fan or a WW1 fan to enjoy it.

Companion

watched this last night, and wish i had not seen the trailer before hand. they get to the bigger plot "twists" pdq but would have been just a wee bit better if i had not seen it.

damned fine film, but i'm start to get a lil tired of jack quaid.

I'm 100 percent seeing this on the biggest screen possible. There's a ton of racing and in-car footage

While normally I'm against remakes of cult classics, this might be an exception simply because of Neill.

And this probably wont come out this year. But this seemed the best place for this.

Eh, I find Neill Blomkamp overrated. District 9 is fantastic, but all his subsequent works are very meh to me.

I didn't really care much for District 9, but I did like Elysium. Shame he never got to do the Halo franchise film he was lined up to do. I thought Gran Turismo was a decent popcorn movie. Definitely a modern day take on movies like Rad.

If Sharlto Copley isn't in Micheal Ironsides role, I'm out

I was mostly joking because there's two ways a ST reboot works out in 2025.

1) They try and recapture the vibe of the OG, completely miss the mark, and turns out to be a flaming ball of ****. Like Dredd, RoboCop, Hellboy, or anything with Micheal Bay's named attached to it in the last 25 years.

2) They take it in a completely different direction and it is still a flaming ball of **** but with sweet CGI. Like basically every third movie in the last 25 years.

... either way, this movie will be a flaming ball of ****. It will also probably be PG-13, so no gore/titties.

I just want this version to have Rico saying "on the bounce" more, like in the book.

Snow White pulls in $43M domestic and barely beats that internationally for a $87M opening weekend.

Hopefully this will finally kill these Disney live action remakes.

I saw it and it wasn't bad. My kids really loved it.

Can't really look at Gal Gadot the same way anymore becuase of politics and stuff.

The woman playing snow white kinda looked like an alien/extraterrestrial, but she did a good job.

Really looking forward to Lilo and Stitch, as long as they keep the original music.

Trying to convince me that Rachel Zegler was prettier than Gal Gadot...was almost as hilarious as them trying to tell me Kristen Stewart was prettier than Charlize Theron...Tho, I actually like Stewart vs Zeg

I think they were meaning it in the shallow hal way.

The Dennis Leary vibe from the prince/Jonathan was disappointing.
