Default Why is my thread locked?

Alrighty, MAJORITY of the time it is because you have not posted pictures of the item for sale in the thread. Rule #9 of the NW classifieds rules (found here ) clearly states that (in large red letters!) 9. You must include a picture of the item or items you are selling. Photos must be of actual item, no stock photos allowed.

I don't care if you are going to post pictures tonight (lets face it, you forget, then you go a few days, bump it and still don't post pics) Don't post the item for sale until you are actually ready to sell it, this includes pictures! Look at it from a buyers point of view. If you are shopping for a set of wheels do you even bother calling / emailing the guy that can't be bothered to post pics? I know I don't.

So, how do I post pics? Well, unless you are a NASIOC supporter, you must have the pics hosted somewhere such as photobucket, IMGur, etc.... So, now that you have your pics hosted how do you host them on NASIOC? Well, see that little picture of Mt Rainier viewed from the weird side (PDX, you know what's up) Click that. In the box that pops up you enter the link to the images host and click ok.

Done, your picture is hosted and posted.

Other reasons why your thread might be locked:
No price listed. Really? This is simple people. If you want to sell something you have to tell people how much you want for it. "Make an offer" will get your post ignored by most people. They are just going to assume that you want too much for it and move on to the next one.

Prohibited item for sale: Subaru bucks (they can only be used by you), Guns / weapons (sorry, the big bosses rule, not mine. If it were up to me....)

Simply linking the item: Yeah, a post with a link to craigslist is not going to fly, sorry.

Multiple "bumps" in a day. Yeah, we can tell when you are just bumping the thread. Doing this will result in all replies being deleted which will dump your thread all the way to the bottom, good luck selling it now!

Multiple threads for similar items: Yeah, no. We will combine or lock (at our discretion / mood) with zero regard to your layout. The thread will be a mess and we won't care. Deal with it. That said, if you have a lot of stuff for sale, go ahead and make a couple threads but try to group like items together. IE: Engine stuff, transmission stuff etc...... We are not talking about 1 or 2 items here either, this is for big stuff like parting your car out. I want to see at least 5 different items in each thread. Got 7 engine thing but only 2 trans things and 6 suspension things? Put the trans stuff with the engine (use your head).

Now, all that said, use a real computer to post things for sale. Mrs Spelled wurds N bad grammer tend 2 mayk 4 poor $alez. Want to sell your items for top dollar? Be professional, and professionals don't use a cell phone to list parts for sale.
