Default Impreza Wagon - Lifted

Que es la que my people? I have been a Jeep owner since I moved to the island, but I want to play with a Subaru again. I'm contemplating buying a 2005 Subaru Impreza wagon. This is going to be a surf wagon to get out through a couple of light off-road trails. Has anyone lifted their Subaru here? I understand the Forester suspension is interchangeable and that Subtle Solutions offers a 1.5" lift kit. Are there any custom shops that could help me with this? Thanks!

Default Lifting assistance

You probably want to read through the Impreza Lift posting which has quite a bit of the component listed for various lifts people have done. How much lift are you looking to do? I believe around the most you can do is 2" in the suspension without having challenges with the angles for the drive components. You can also get another 1+ inch with larger tires.

I have a 2015 wagon and I'll be putting a 2" lift and bump the tires from the 205-55-16 stock to 215-65-16. I bought a complete lift kit with alignment correction from Rallitech and am hiring a local mechanic to do the work plus the alignment after. Should get almost 3 extra inches of ground clearance and a more aggressive look.
