Question Ever have a job you feel like you are just not qualified for?

It is just annoying to one day think that you know what you are doing and in control of your responsibilities, to come in the next day and have everythign crash down around you.

This is the first job I have ever had where somedays I just wonder why they let me work here. I just feel like I woul dbe doing them a service and move on.

Anyone else ever have a job and feel like that? Some days I can lead a discussion.. and others I am just of fin Limbo wonder what the hell is going on.

Bah.

No, but my job's not qualified for me.

I guess that's not quite the same.

Don't worry about it. If it's a problem, you'll probably be informed via a pink slip.

You could look at it as a challenge to rise to the requirements of the job. don't think about how much you fall short today--think about the experience you'll have under your belt once you master your job. Then fake it till you make it in a more advanced job.

Ive never had a position where I didn't feel qualified even if I had no idea what I was doing. Had to build a digital phone system for this office in Dallas once along with my normal network install/office setup tasks. Only stuff I knew about phone systems were the old punch down style, I had used those signal finder thingys before but never built anything from scratch.

They gave me three days to get the entire office operational so I hired a few mexicans to move stuff around while I learned how to setup the phone stuff. Everything I needed to know was a google away
