Default Incognito gauges for 2012 STI

Recently bought a "stock" 2012 STI. Turns out it has ID1050X injectors, COBB Stumble, and some other possible stuff. But that's another story...

This leaves me with a lot of unknowns. The guy who looked through my car after purchase advised me to get a Wideband and oil pressure gauge to monitor the motor. The issue is, I don't want to hack up the stock interior. I also need to buy a cobb unit, but I don't want that hanging out on the dash either. Is there a head unit or some other method of displaying this information while keeping a clean (non race) look?

Thanks all

Wow, is this an actual multi capable gauge? How does it interact with the different sending units (afr, boost, and oil pressure)

Does this option crowd up the cluster, ot does it seem pretty natural? How are the wires routed? Are they visible?

Yes it is. It reads most things by polling the ECU (boost, IAT, ECT, knock, etc). AFR is read from an Innovate LC-2 over serial (to ensure the most accurate readings), while oil pressure and temperature are read via analog inputs.

@ gfxguy

This is amazing! You aren't selling them yet, are you? It would be awesome if you could incorporate this system into a head unit. Id like to be able to view accurate readouts on the headunit screen for a clean look.

Not selling anything yet, but email me at [email protected] if you want to be notified if & when I do.

You might want to look at BtSsm — you could run that on an android head unit, but I don’t think it supports external sensors, though you might be able to do something by wiring the sensors to unused ecu inputs (TGVs and rear o2 are the common ones). That’s not necessary with my gauge.

This is the cluster I use in my 11 wrx. Boost gauge and oil temp gauge. Doesn’t crowd anything at all. Feel free to pm me with install questions. It’s fairly simple
