^^^you can DMV stipulates you must bring actual plate into DMV for inspection(that reflective paint wears/not bent to crap/etc) then DMV will transfer to correct vehicle

i know this bc i found a 1970 motorcycle plate in great condition
after a trip to DMV....that plate is now registered to my 1970 Suzuki

pictures worth a thousand words and you proved the same.
thanks

1)better get your son a heavy leather glove for shifting. i have seen ripped hands from vintage F1/nascar drivers bc of a missing knob!
2)i totally know what the Personal License Plate will say when you get that swap done.

thanks all
wish was on better terms for everyone

HAHA!

1 - Good thing it has a COBB Knob. In the pic I had the shifter and crossmember out. I was installing all the Kartboy shifter goods, but rust had other ideas. I had to buy some new hardware and another STi Group N mount.

2 - I think I'm going with "POOHSRS' for a plate frame. Fits the amount of letters allowed.

Slowly but surely it's going to be running better than new.

All the Kartboy goodness is in the shifter area.

PRM had a few intake parts hanging around. So I was able to make a COBB-ish intake. They only had open end filters left, so it has a long 350Z filter and a 4.5" silicone hose going to the fender opening.

I talked to Stromung and got a stainless dual tip cat-back and a metal substrate high flow cat. I'll likely just get an overseas Borla header knock-off. I would get the equal length header that I designed and got into production when I worked at COBB that Tsudo then copied, but I want that UEL rumble. I think that's all for power until I STi swap. I just want his RS to be a fun car while I wait to find the right donor STi.

Pooh had some Depot corner lights and they were actually nice years ago, but they were showing their age, so I ordered up a set of JDM clears from Flatirons. I'll likely not install them until I do paint/body in a few years.....after I recover from the STi swap.

This will be the car that Pooh always wanted it to be! It just may take me a while to get there. <3

Heeeeyyyy.... Joined this site 2001 or 2002 when I got a 2.5RS.

Since then:

2008 - bought a Mini Cooper S
2016 - sold the Mini Cooper S, bought a Honda Fit
2019 - sold the Impreza 2.5RS
2022 - sold the Honda Fit, bought a Toyota Prius

Around 2009ish I was introduced to Reddit and gradually stopped visiting my regular forums and social media. Now I'm gradually stopping Reddit and wondering what happened to all the old forums I used to frequent.

Well damn... I have got to get my clutch sorted out. I would love to go for a drive, but an F150 would be weirder than an old Integra ever was.

Chiming in a few years later also wondering what happened. I used to spend hours a week on this forum back like 15 years ago. Glad it's still here, but I guess people have other stuff to do.

Yeah I think "social media" killed forums for the most part. Seems like they're only good for reference now...which is sad. I spent all my time on here or at meets back in the day. LOL

Definitely still active in DFW though, we have a little Subaru crew that meets pretty regularly, going to events, and hitting up other meets.

^If it can't fit into a 15 video second clip, people have no interest in it.

I will mourn forums when they are gone.

I am still around too. Celebrated 23 years with CTI#5 yesterday. Still have it and still drive it occasionally. I've kept it as close to Cobb Tuned as possible.
