Angry Neal buys SVX, svx gets totalled....

And I DIDN'T EVEN DO IT!

The owner was driving it down to Evanston last night around 8pm. I had a bank check in hand. I was buying his car for a cheap ass price because the tranny was slipping but we all know about that weakness in the SVX 4eat. Not a big deal. Well he was about 5 minutes away from my house when someone ran a red and t-boned him. Hes fine and all, but I am sure as hell not buying the car now I went to go check out the scene and boy did it look bad. His passanger door, fender are wrecked, the rim has some nice angle on it. Also seems like the impact broke the windshield Fortunally he was hit by a SUV-exploder w/ a brush guard and a teenie bopper driver, so insurance is gonna cover it...(it seems)

This is my problem though...

I can't decide, god hate me....or him?

I think you should stop buying Subaru's. Before long you'll cause them all to break.

Man, that is terrible. Why do parents let their inexperienced kids drive the most difficult vehicles to pilot?

I didn't even think to take a picture. I feel bad for the guy. He was all snazzed up and about to go out for the night too.
I'll email him and see if I can get his insurance pictures.

I offered him 300 bucks cash for the car as it after I showed up
Talk about adding insult to injury

I think subaru's hate you.... the SVX would rather die in the likes of a SUV than to see the WRAFT of Neal's Driving

OMG ITS THE CURSE (of DoctorNick)...

Its probably better this way. I'd hate to see you try to install a turbo and a 6speed on that SVX.

God I hate you.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking MT conversion. Hell, I think a running car was the first thing I was thinking

Anyways. Found a yoda truck circa 88 for 2,000. new clutch, new master cylander. The bed looks like hell, but it runs, its cheap and its got a 2 inch lift
Gonna see about buying it tomarrow.

Well, it could have been worse.. He could have totaled it after he bought it.
Still stinks. Hopefully the insurance company comes through for the SVX owner.

Can you describe this SUV? I'm going to have to look out in case she wants to up her score of Subaru kills. Bush bar and ditzy blond aren't good enough; I see that on almost every SUV here and when I visit my parents in Colorado, so as far as I care it's par for the world.

I'm pretty sure it had a NWU sticker in the back window

It was your average black exploder/excursion.

I wouldn't dare drive a smart car. Unless I also owned a miata and was balding.

4g63 swap anyone?

Good deal! He probably got even more for the car totaled than he would have had he sold it. Who is complaining now?
