are the 2020 STI wheels the same as previous models? I only saw the previous model but noted as size 19x8.5...i thought they were 19x9.5?

Specs seem the same otherwise. Although maybe that machining shaves off a negligible amount of weight S209 gets wider wheels. But only 9" according to page 1 of this thread and the Subaru website, not 9.5. |

I need help figuring out how much my OEM 17" wheels weigh for my 2012 OB 3.6R
OK, I have definitely scoured this thread and, unless I missed it, I can't for the life of me, find weight info for these rims, they're 17", came stock on my 2012 Outback 3.6R. The reason is, I am looking at a set of BRZ rims that will fit and want to know if there's an unsprung weight savings. Am I just missing the stats for this wheel in this thread? I'd like to shave off some weight if possible, from the wheels because I am getting some beefier AT tires.

BRZ wheels are definitely lighter.

Check all over this thread and can’t find anything about it but this are OEM Enkei Wheels out of a 2019 WRX with Brembo option, I test them on a 2012 STI and have a bit more then 1/8 of and inch so about 3.5MM of clearance. Tight fitment but no rubbing at all, also the rear Brembo brakes have so much free room that didn’t bother to take pictures

Dan, awesome thread! Thanks for doing the research and putting it all in one place. I came here looking for stock specs for a 2006 WRX Wagon and noticed the specs listed here are different than what is on the fastwrx.com site.
I checked the door plate on my car and it says the stock tire size is 215/45R17. Can you confirm if the backspacing is +55 or +53? Thanks! When the storefront opens again I'll be sure to swing by and do some impulse shopping. Quote:

Seems like the newer models of Subaru are using wider wheels. Nonetheless I would still replace them with an aftermarket wheels like Method race MR501 VT-Spec. A pal of mine bought a set from 4WheelOnline and looked and fitted sharp on his blue wrx.

You can't. It's S209-spec, and Subaru guards those, so if you want to order it you have to pony up your VIN and proof of ownership. Plus they are probably like $2500 each, although I haven't priced them out yet.

Hello,
I was curious to know if you knew if the 4piston fronts and 2 piston rear Brembos off the 2015 would fit in the 2018 WRX 17inch wheels? If I would need spacers or if it would even fit in the barrel of the wheel? I would personally like to keep the wheels at 17inch if I can and the calipers will clear. Thank you! |

50th anniversary wheels
Can someone help me find the part number for the 50th anniversary WRX wheels from 2018? I like the silver and think they'd look great on my white WRX.

Any idea if these clear the 2016 STI 4 pots ? I haven't been able to find a clear yes/no. It appears they put these wheels on the WRX Series.White which has 4 pots ? |

I picked up 19STi 19inch wheels for my 16 STi not knowing that they don't clear the front calipers. My question is if I put a spacer on the fronts what size do I need ,and is it ok to run spacers on the fronts without needing them on the rear ? Or do you need to run spacers on all four Wheels ? Thanks

Im on the fence about buying new wheels for my 2020 STI or buying spacers. Ive had spacers on other cars and they all seem to vibrate at 80mph. So I am leaning towards wheels with a lower offerset to space the wheels out.
What are some 19" wheel options you all are using these days? |

Please keep this thread focused on the specifications of OEM wheels. Your question might be a good subject for a new thread.

Is this wheel from a 2019 WRX or 2020 WRX? Brembo option is only offered on MY 2020 and as a 2019 owner I wonder if my wheels would clear 4pot brembos. |
