Default Aem v2 install

Hello everyone,

Getting ready to install a aem v2 kit on a 2015 wrx,

My question is do you really need the solonoid if you run the power to an ignition on source

What are the benefits of doing so, don’t mind getting it if I need it just don’t want to waste money if no real benefit

Also when mounting the tank, how can i determine if it’s higher than the injection point...I was planning on building a mounting rack for the tank and pump for the trunk for a nice clean easy access install

Thanks

Fill a length with water and make a U shape with the upper ends of the U the points you need to level. Awkward, and spare hands really help, but it works
