By Monday my arm was fine but I've been groggy/tired, and coughing up whatnot, and diarrhea ever since. Everyday this week I've been asleep by 7pm. I can't wait for shot #2. These vaccines better help move things back to normal because if we're still having to wear masks everywhere by next year I'm going to be murderously pissed. For now I just can't trust farts.

Correct. Luckily I know my body and have never ACTUALLY sharted but this entire week I can only fart whilst on the bowl because a Rorschach pattern will be painted on the bowl from the fart.

Is this due to the shot?

I have to assume yes because I was fine until I got the shot? No way to know for sure but I have heard that diarrhea is a side effect of the vaccines (i.e. part of the immune response.)

I only had tiredness one the first shot, second shot was Tuesday and I started feeling “off” a few hours later, woke up to start work on Wednesday and my wife said “go back to bed”, I did.

Felt tired, groggy, foggy, and a bit sore until 9:00 last night, then it was like a light switch, felt normal.

I got Pfizer #1 Tuesday @ 4 PM. I guess I have to be careful playing the trouser trumpet then, as I have sharted my drawers more than a few times.

When my brother got his first vaccine shot, he passed out 10 minutes later. Not anaphalaxis. He had weakness pretty bad when he had covid last year.

Two days since Pfizer #2. Arm is still a bit sore, otherwise nothing major. Had a couple runny dumps but I think it was food related not shot related, as I ate out for lunch for the first time in 14 months and had a greasy burger with fries.

Who wants to buy a stamped vaccine card? You just have to change the name.

45 hours since Pfizer #1 and feels like the flu somewhat: foggy, achy, too warm then chills. I guess it's doing it's job. GI is queasy, too.

77 inmates at Fort Madison prison given excessive doses of COVID vaccine by mistake

77 inmates at the Iowa State Penitentiary were given excessive doses of the COVID vaccine by mistake, according to the Iowa Department of Corrections (DOC).

Officials say two medical staffers incorrectly administered the Pfizer vaccine to the prisoners, with the dosage exceeding the amount recommended by the manufacturer.

After learning of the error, the DOC said they immediately contacted the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for guidance.

The affected inmates have been notified of the mistake and are being closely monitored by medical staff, officials said. The CDC and Pfizer have advised that they do not expect any major side effects but advised the DOC to closely monitor the inmates for at least 48 hours. The DOC said they plan on conducting medical wellness check-ups routinely for several days.

According to the DOC, the only side effects experienced by the inmates have been those commonly associated with the Pfizer vaccine.

As a result, the DOC has temporarily suspended vaccine administration at the prison while an investigation is conducted.,

The two nursing staff members that administered the vaccines have been placed on administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation.

According to the DOC, 200 inmates at the Iowa State Penitentiary have received their first dose of the COVID vaccine and 48 inmates have received their second dose. Department-wide, 1,964 inmates have received their first dose and 214 inmates have received their second dose of the vaccine.

Just another note, at the start of the whole covid thing I bought a pulse oximeter and have been taking regular readings (almost daily, just for giggles.)

I normally sit around 97% or so.

Sitting at around 94% now after teh vaccine.

That's quite a reaction there. My wife's #2 of the Pfizer with symptoms didn't cause her numbers to drop at all. My #1 of the Moderna didn't do anything either.

Or having an off day. We have an O2 meter as well and I learned pretty quickly I can make mine vary between 93% and 99% just by slightly varying the way I'm breathing.

If you don't feel well, you are probably sitting around doing very little and taking slower, shallower breaths. That brings it down.

Get up and move around a minute and sit back down. You'll take slightly deeper breaths and probably won't even notice. But I bet you blood O2 goes to 97% or more.

it was consistently low all day.

93% today, consistently (across 5 readings so far this morning)

Getting shot #2 of Pfizer today.

I'll update everyone on my status on GatesNet. Do I need to create an account, or do the nanobots automatically register me?

Got Pfizer #2 on Wednesday. Total non event so far. Shoulder was slightly more sore than the first one but any soreness has almost totally subsided at this point.

#1 was a non event as well aside from some tiredness a few hours later but I might have had a slightly stronger drink that day so that could have contributed.
