How much of your own poop is floating around in various cities and locations in pipes... possible stuck somewhere. Live in one city, work in another, road trips, vacations...

How many times have we crossed paths with strangers. Similarly, how many strangers have we been close to in greatly varied geographic locations... not connected by our stuck poops.

We exist in a world where "Momma June" had a show called "Not to Hot" or something close to that.

TIL: base twelve systems came from counting finger joints, and also spawned base 60 systems.

Sometimes I want an overcooked steak with A1 and/or Heinz 57 sauce. Mom's best.

I've spoken, with my voice, to turntable of OT for many years. Not in any great depth, but still. Enough to "know" him.

Today I came to the random realization that anything he, torquemada, and totallynotbeau have ever posted has all melted into one schizophrenic character in my mind. An OT hydra of sorts. Thereby making them all responsible for everything the other posts. I can't know how long it's been that way in my head here.

That "early days of OT" is 20+ years ago for some of us makes me weep a little inside.

I'm planning on doing the Kessel run tomorrow in less than 12 parsecs. To do so, I will need to fold space from Ix... Many machines on Ix. New machines. Much better than those on Richesse.

Watching a documentary about development of the parachute that was waaaaay more interesting than I expected.

They did a segment on the two guys who developed the first freefall chute for use by WWI pilots. One was a circus performer and the other was a movie stuntman.

Stuntman did the first full test of their prototype by jumping from an aircraft. Just climbed out and stepped off.

That guy had enormous balls of steel. Huge.

I've said something like this before, I think, but seeing The Rock on a random youtube video made me think about it again: In a human vs. grizzly bear fight, it wouldn't matter to the bear if it was fighting Dwayne Johnson or a toddler. Both would be equally effective at fighting the bear, which is to say completely not.

It's like us stepping on a small ant vs a slightly less small ant. That 2nd ant might've been the biggest, baddest mother****er in Antville, but he got squished underfoot just as easily as his tiny bitch-ass friend.

CN: Most of the animal kingdom preobably thinks we're bitch-asses.

I don't need the animal kingdom's opinion or assistance on that one. I make you a bitch ass every week.

Anything that isn't venomous and is smaller than you can cause damage but is unlikely to kill you.

Anything bigger or heavier...yeah, most likely a casual swipe is enough to end you.

A 4ft shark would struggle to fit my fist in it's mouth. It could take a chunk or a couple of fingers, but one bite isn't going to kill me. A 6-8ft shark? Odds of my death just quadrupled.

Someone in the cat thread said a while ago, something along the lines of, "Your typical house cat could **** your world up if given a reason to" which made me laugh.

Yeah, but I'm down here power bottoming your silly straw dick like a BAWSS.

Also, we should probably clarify that these are metaphorical quips related to a video game we play. Patrick and I do not, in fact, butt**** each other.
