Yeah, whatever. All the same at night when it's freezing cold. I would've stayed at the bar until 4AM if it wasn't so horrible out. Where's summer?

I'm looking forward to next season. I dropped the ball about halfway through and missed a few deadlines to pick for races in a row.

Yeah, that usually happens to a few people every season.

We added in the 1 round drop so you get a pass if you miss one event, but more than 1 drop and the scoring gets too hard to follow and there's too much potential for people trying to game the rules by not picking, which defeats the whole point.

Really the only way to protect yourself is to make sure to pick some "default" drivers for the next few rounds in case you can't get in at the last minute to make more specific picks.

I just had some horrible luck this season with solid picks just tripping over themselves.

When do submissions for our projected results need to be in? Like can I watch practice and make the determination or is it before then?

Picks are due before qualifying... so you can watch all the practices session before making them.

Also, you don't need to try to predict the results per-se... order doesn't matter. And if you try to pick the top 5 every round, you're likely to run out of good drivers before the season's over. Which is the primary difference between this league and most others.

All the rules are here: http://ff1.seccs.org/index.php?page=faq

its been so topsy turvy. I think I've done 3 seasons now? Did well my first, just placed outside in the second and got proper f'ed in the third.

This season is going to be nutty and survival is probably the name of the game.

I'm also in the f1pick6 community.

Another bump!

We've got 11 people signed up, so we're officially paying out to the top 3 positions. Also, it looks like a couple more NASIOC guys signed up, but didn't pay to activate their accounts for the season... let me know if anyone's having registration issues.

Also, which one of you guys registered as "Dick Butt"?
