We almost had Global Frequency. Superheroes are the new zombie. The tropes are going to be all over the place and beaten to death.

I'm definitely feeling superhero genre fatigue after watching this trailer, I'm not particularly eager to watch this new show.

Y'all didn't have to read the book in school? Pretty sure I had to in my high school English class when we were going over transcendentalism.

Watched "WHITE BOY" yesterday.
The story of Detroit's White Boy Rick drug dealer. It was one of those pretty frustrating docs, where you watch in disbelief just how corrupt the justice system and the US Govt. are. The doc itself is pretty good and goes into detail on his life and connections. I also learned that Inspector Todd from Beverly Hills Cop was actually a Detroit cop (head of Homicide) and was deeply involved in the case and overall a piece of ****. If you enjoyed "Making a Murderer" and yelled WTF at your TV, you may want to check this one out. It is only hour and a half, so not a huge investment of time. |

Finished Who Killed Sara. Decent enough that I want to watch season 2 and find out what is going on. Plus a healthy dose of A&T helps.

Currently at episode 5. It is a bit Mr. Robot and a little Count of Monte Cristo. The little sister is not bad on the eyes either though. There is also an element of Scooby Doo.

Castlevania is coming to an end at Netflix: The anime series will conclude with the upcoming fourth season, premiering Thursday, May 13, the streamer announced on Friday. However, our sister site Deadline reports that Netflix is eyeing a new series set in the same universe, featuring a new cast of characters. Inspired by the classic video game, Castlevania is described as "a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepes himself." Watch a teaser for the show's swan song: |

Heavy vibes of Blade Runner. I'm totally in!
Did I see Michael B. Jordan in there? How'd you guys feel about the randomized playlist? I thought it made it kinda confusing to discuss on here with everyone. You think they're gonna try that again? |

Still, we have to wait A MONTH?!
I've checked several times for a release date for Season 2 of LDR, most recently was... a few days ago. So this is welcome news. |

Watching Stowaway....the movie.
Its about a 2yr mission to Mars when the crew finds a flight Engineer is accidently left onboard and now his ass is also on the way to Mars with them. **** happens, stuff needs to be done, the stakes are high and movie. Overall I'd say its ok if not on the better side of good than bad. The first half does a lot of scene painting and character development but some of the glaring plotholes are really glaring and they gloss over them pretty easily. However, the cast is good and the acting is on spot leading to some very endeering scenes and some good thrills towards the end. |
