I know, this is just the first time I've seen it without the quad headlights. It sort of looks like the Accord of that era at a quick glance and I love it.

Did the ad happen to say how many miles and whether or not it was 5spd manual and leather interior?

Asking as I own one and would appreciate know where the market lies for one.

I have never heard/seen of that model. Aside from the god awful engine cowl, that is neat AF.

A while back I saw where someone tried to fix the rear on a Kelmark GT, and did a decent job.

Oh wow, I haven't thought about those in ages. Growing up that was the first "luxury adult" car my dad bought (he had been driving company provided cars for ages). Ours was the same color but a manual.

My dad LOVED that machine...until it started to completely fall apart

Finally I've scored a good deal. Friend of mine sold me a Cressida for 1500 bucks. Damn thing drives like a top and still has AC. If I had a Japanese pickup truck, I could finally give up the search for cars.

This looks like it would be fun to restomod. Or buy something like a Hellcat chassis, and drop this body on top. The 327 itself isn't a bad motor either, if you build it for N.A., since you get snappy throttle response.

Let’s see it, we just (not just) picked up an LS400 that will be my youngest kids car in about a year. Just put new wheels on it, almost certainly going to lower it a bit. For a 23 year old car the interior is fantastic.

Considering that these cars are rare here, and seem to have a bit of a cult following with the Atlanta hotboi crowd, I'm very thankful my friend gave me that deal. He's had a lot of X-chassis cars and I think he wanted to free up some space and money for his new JZX90, or maybe get something else. Either way, I've been wanting one ever since I had my MKIII Supra, and I had damn near given up on them after seeing the market start to blow up with the X90 chassis becoming legal and JZX platforms becoming more and more popular. I'm so grateful and like I said before, I've now got two aspirational cars, that are both relatively cheap to get what I want out of them. If I land a pickup, I think I'm done buying cars.

Would love to do a straight drivetrain swap from an LS400. That would make it absolutely perfect for what I want.

Here’s our LS. Bought it with 176K on the clock and it’s got 184K now just 4 or so months later. It is the car of choice for the 17YO even over his Lightning. Bought this for my youngest kid, turns 15 this week. We just did wheels and will drop it a bit at some point.

LS400s are great cars.
