Not all of us. I'm a lucky 44 yr old (about to be 45) with a full, thick head of hair that's not yet turned grey (I do have some salt on the sides of my head, but I keep it short on the sides so it's not noticeable. My chin beard on the other hand, is nearly fully grey.

Most of my mom's brothers (she's one of 10, with 7 brothers and 2 sisters) have full heads of hair, even the oldest who's nearing 70. I don't think I have to worry about baldness.

That being said, I almost never wear a hat unless I'm doing yardwork, then it's a standard baseball cap.

Well receded up front and thin, but not yet bald, spot on the back (at...wait, how old am I? 47. Right).

Anyway...

I shave my head now (the shortest guard on my clippers) and for hats I either use standard baseball caps - I've got a handful of ones given to me from work + some personal ones.

When I'm out in more serious sun conditions I've got full brim one a lot like this - https://www.rei.com/product/827301/c...-booney-ii-hat ...mine's not as big though (I don't think at least). That's my backpacking hat too.

Oh yeah, I'll often be wearing a bandana too, tied around the neck (long in front). I use that as my mask and it does a good job (not great, but good enough) to protect the back of the neck from the sun (if I ain't wearing the floppy hat).

Try this one, it's fantastic (as it should be for the price).

Yes, fuck you. How's that? *

Forget about the crippling depression and social anxiety I have dealt with over the last 4.5 years. I wish I only had male pattern baldness to deal with.

*You know I'm not really serious here and I could take a joke, but the 2nd part of my post is sincere.

You know that's not at all as true as it used to be. And you'd think that a decade plus of me baselessly calling you bald would be fine, but I guess not. GOSH.

All of the hair migrated from the top of my head to all of the spots you don't want hair, ironically.

Edit: My new DL says bald as well.

I've always had hair in spots you don't want it. There was a time (a long time) that I hated that & even considered trying to get that hair moved.

Now? @#$% it. Y'all are lucky I even shower.
