It's a reasonable question. He's not asking how he can switch off his turbo, he's asking how much power the 2.5 liter engine would produce if it weren't turbo'd.

I remember the exact same question being asked back in the WRX forum years ago

I liked the boost fluid and side mount IC thing. Watch that poor soul actually put 93 Octane in his IC Sprayer.
