Default JDM Wheels Verses BBS STi Wheels with Pictures

Well I had a question before I post pictures. Would there be any reason why the dealer would void any warranties on the car (Not stock wheels or tires) when replacing them with the JDM/UK wheels? (Bearing warrantiy?)

I plan to post before and after pictures later today

Weighed the JDM wheels with tires: are 45lbs a wheel

Thanks

these are going on

If I remember correctly, UK Golds will not fit over the brakes on our cars. I have not heard any issues with aftermarket wheels voiding warranties, unless you are going from a 15" wheel to like dubs and you are having suspension problems. But I would imagine going from a 17" wheel to a 17" wouldn't be an issue.

US, uk and jdm brakes are the same. The uk wheels will fit the usdm sti.
Theres few pics on the board, i know usdmsti site had them but i guess he took them down.

Hmm just read the post (like first page of Wheels that fit over STi brakes thread). You are correct UK WRX 17" will not fit, but UK STi 17" will. I guess when someone says UK 17" i automaitcally think of the WRX ones, which, as noted, are not the same as the JDM/UK STi 17"s.

I have those wheels on my car now. I put all season tires on them. My silver bbs wheels have the original tires. I personally like the JDM split 5's better in gold than the bbs's in gold. Which is cool because I can have both the silver and gold look...

Silver and Gold, silver and gold...

enjoy
