GoogleFu fail. Anyone know how a 2000 Viper ACR is classed for SCCA Autocross
Anyone know how a 2000 Viper ACR is classed for SCCA Autocross?
I've been searching through the 2020 rule book. It doesn't seem clear how the ACR is classed? Seems like it could be SS or AS. Help Appreciated. I totally know this isn't a Subaru question, but when in doubt, ask Nasioc where people actually seem to know what they are talking about.

IIRC the ACR isn't classed in Street which puts it in SSP as the first actual catch all. Basically where the Mclarens, Lamborghinis, etc all go.
In the appendix of the rule book there will be listings and if it's not called out there explicitly then it would follow the NOC (not otherwise classed) rules |

Well, I've never written a letter asking for a Solo Rule Change, so.... what the hell, I gave it a shot. Anyway, I know have an official "SubaRufus" section of the rulebook.
February Fastrack "Tech Bulletins Street Category #29922 Please clarify classing of 2000 Dodge Viper GTS ACR Per the SAC, make the following adjustments to Appendix A: SS Dodge & SRT Viper (all) Viper (2013-2017) Viper (ACR and TA all)" Yep, gonna request ALK being legal for Subaru's in SM next...... |
