Why would they but those heavy wheels on the 07? They probably weigh 5 pounds more per corner then the stock 07 bbs.

It hurts me to watch this guy talk. I don't know why. Anyway, yea I was confused with the 08+ stockers on that car. Also, it annoys me when these comparisons use 2 different drivers and one car beats the other, then they use the excuse that one is a better/worse driver. That is a terrible way to compare cars. (given they did in this case try to equalize it by the end)

Anyone else find it creepy that a person was peeking their head up inside the STI in that last frame?

i personally think the s204 was the best sti from factory, but I guess we are in US. I wish they did comparisons with both of them stage 2 similar mods, if not same. And maybe suspension, etc. I would imagine the 11 sti would have more advantages over 07's as more mods are involved, for both cars of course.

Vehicle:-_- I am da wheeler dealer king! Yeea buddy!! |
I agree on the road course, the 07 would have gotten better times if it had its oem bbs wheels! Not to be biased, but 07's gearing is the very best out of all STI's...and that is a fact if u do some searching. As far as pistons, all u need is a good tune to get rid of oem restrictions...my $ .02

The 07' is mine, believe me.....I HATED the 08' wheels on my car, we were calling it the "donk" sti.
My OEM BBS wheels have Blizzak LM22's on them right now, and the producers wanted the car to be fitted with summer performance tires for the comparison. The 08' wheels were loaned to us and were all we could come up with on short notice. I too would like to see how it would have done with the original wheels on it. |
