Sure, it may have more legroom somewhere where I don't care about (otehr than teh driver's seat) but that doesn't mean it naturally had to lose its sportiness. u really have to purposefully want to make a dull car to achieve teh level of boring that teh 2010 Legacy provides. I guess this is teh new market tehy are catering to. Also, teh interior is not that nice really. y are all cars going with totally hard plastic all-around, with teh higher-end cars maybe tacking on some plastic trim that looks like fake wood? I don't feel bad about my car's interior now that I c all cars are going in this direction. Wait, actually I do, it's just that now I feel bad about all cars in general.

I didn't buy a Subaru last time I purchased a new car, and I was really hoping teh 2010 Legacy or 2010 STi would lure me back to Scooby land. Not only did u not lure me back Subaru, but u have made it much less likely that I will botehr to c what u are offering when I make my next purchase. Maybe its for teh best that u be swallowed up by Toyota so that some new Subaru can come along and make a niche for itself making teh cars we actually do want to buy...

With teh competition of teh new Ford SHO, teh new Acura TSX, and otehrs in teh AWD sedan market, Subaru really has to do better than this to be on peoples' radar screens...
Amen, I just bought a 2008 2 door accord last year for my work commuter. I really really wanted a subaru but the styling ruined it for me. I've got tons of compliments on the looks of the accord and a lot of people mistake it for something much nicer then a honda. It's just sad that subaru couldent have kept the impreza line pretty aggressive at least. Oh well, now I have vtec, OMGZ.

I think it's totally "meh"...so it should do well in competition with Camrys and Accords...oh well.

That said, show me teh wagon and show me teh turbo...preferrably togetehr. Maybe I'll change my mind.

so they got rid of the dual mufflers. Made it look like a Nissan maxima and got rid of the side door handles! I love those things…all I can say is that I can’t wait until the 08-09 GT’s are lower in price. I will pass on this Gen. At least the lower panel valance is more aggressive.

I don't think it's that bad. Don't get me wrong, it is still ugly.

The second newest to this legacy model, was definitely they best. They ruined a good thing.

Although, I'd like to see it with a scoop.

I am going to make a prediction

---- Any time subaru makes design change NASIOC will hate on it-----

Tell me I am wrong. From the bug-eye to the 2010 leggy its all the same. Adding to that, many of you complainers are not even in the legacy market. I like my 05gt much better but I would drive this any day.

I'm amazed at the negative reaction this thing is getting. I honestly think it's the nicest looking Subaru to come out of the last five years or so. I hated the concept but the new Leggy looks awesome. Weird.

Flame away I guess...

The recession has caused SOA to lay off all their car designers and replace them with spider monkeys. Major disappointment.

This car does not look as bad as some of you guys are making this car out to be. This is the base model. I am pretty sure the GT with some aero and wider wheels will make this car look pretty sweet. The 09 legacy do look nice but it's starting to look a bit outdated imo.
