2006 Subaru WRX Wagon:
Location: Richmond, CA Price: $13k, OBO Mileage:73k Transmission:5sp MT Pictures: https://photos.app.goo.gl/aYPkJ3WJd2sJCkdo9 Description and Mods: This clean, low mile example is a one owner car. It does have a few door dings (happened recently, FML). 2006 Subaru WRX "STi" Wagon, 2.5L turbo, 5spd manual transmission, 73K original miles. I purchased the car brand new in December of 2005 from Longmont Subaru in Longmont, CO. In 2008 I moved back to the bay area where the car has since lived. The car has had regular oil changes with synthetic (typically Mobil 1) since day one. The car is clean given its age, but it also has a number of little dings/scrapes from living in SF for 8 years. Interior quality is very good, aside from a few bumps and bruises inside (it's a wagon after all and I used it as such). As an ex-tech, I've taken great care of the car and added very tasteful mods (usually OE based) to improve power and spirited driving without compromising reliability or much MPG. Suspension is firm and focused, yet very compliant and not harsh. Chassis and alignment setup by known Bay Area autocross/race car tuner and champion. Drives straight as an arrow and handles incredibly. Full fluid and service done at 50k miles. Car is ready to drive with no mechanical issues. Only consideration may be to replace aging tires (still have tread life left). No leaks, no smoking, nothing. Recently drove the car on a 160 mile round trip through Santa Cruz mountains and it ripped. And with brake upgrades, the car stops on a dime. Includes a yakima rack and a number of accessories. Modifications: Upgraded 2006 STi VF39 Turbo installed at ~20k miles (take off turbo had similar miles on it) Upgraded larger volume top mount intercooler Perrin pulley Silicone intake and intercooler hoses throughout (have brand new coolant hoses too) Subaru Performance Cold Air Intake (SMOG legal w/ CARB sticker) Koni "yellow" Shock inserts Swift Engineering springs Cobb Sway bars front and rear (adjustable) Kart boy (?) end links 1/4 rear spacers to provide appropriate rake. Stiffened top hats Stoptech slotted rotors added at ~35k miles Brand new hawk front pads done ~1-2k miles ago Stainless Braided brake lines all around Kart boy short shifter Cobb Cat Back exhaust with custom resonator added Cobb catted downpipe (not installed) Walbro fuel pump (not installed) GM boost solenoid (not installed) Cobb V2 Accessport ROTA 18" wheels Pioneer Car Play head unit (AppRadio 4 (SPH-DA120)) Boston Pro front components Alpine MRV500 5 channel amp 2 x 8" Boston Pro Series Subs in custom spare tire enclosure Dyanmat throughout Viper Remote start and alarm DEI Window controllers (windows automatically go up with alarm arm) HID light conversion Light cases "blacked out" Car currently has Cobb stage 1 tune and factory downpipe installed for easy breezy smog. Car will come with catted Cobb down pipe, walbro fuel pump, stage 3 cobb tune and GM boost solenoid. Adding these components back in nets an extra 80-100+hp to the crank depending on dyno tune. It's also likely you could pass smog with these components in it using a mild tune, but I've put the car back to "stockish" for easy smog. Car still rips with this STi OE setup and makes near STi power. Not in a hurry to sell. I love the car, but just don't drive it much. Might consider trades (+/- cash) for clean BMW E30's, rear engine Porsches, BMW E34 V8 touring wagons, or something else cool non-suby related.
