Default Changes to the 2019 STI engine wire harness changes

I am dropping a complete motor from a 2019 STI into my 2013 STI and notice there are differences to where the bulk-head of the wire harness plugs in. On my 2013 wire harness, all of the wires are contained in a single loom. On the 2019, there are 2 additional looms and 2 connectors that are taped to the main bulk-head. The bulk-head looks like it is the same and should connect, but i wanted to make sure the differences are only in appearance and that the motor will run without modifying the wire harness.

Has anyone done this or can let me know if it will plug in and run without modifying?

Worst case is me swapping over the wire harness from my 2013, but i'd much rather know in advance so i can do this with both engines out of the car and sitting next to each other.

why dont you just swap the heads manifold it would be alot easier than swapping the harness

that's what I would do if they are not compatible. I am going to look up the harness wire diagram and see.

I compared the wireing harness diagrams from the service manual and everything on my looks like it matches the order in the 2018. The extra clips in the 2019 wire harness are Leak diagnosis connectors 3-6. Need to look into it more.

Why not remove the 2019 harness and reuse your 2013 harness?
