Default Heated seat questions

Hi guys,

I recently purchased and installed some STI leather seats into my bugeye, and I had a question regarding some wires I saw coming out of the passenger and driver side seats. I think these are heating elements, but I'm not sure if they are OEM or if they are an aftermarket thing. There's one wire coming out of the driver seat, and two for the passenger. I included pictures of the wires - after looking into it I think either way trying to get the heated seat function to work will be a project for later down the line (sourcing an OEM harness, the switches, and wiring, and I'm pretty green when it comes to auto work), but just for future reference would be nice to know. Thank you guys for any help or advice!

It's hard to tell in the picture, but what color is the other line going to that spade connector? What year seats? Those plugs look similar to my heated seats

Thanks for the reply man - the wires are red and orange coming off the spade connector.

I was told they're JDM 2002 WRX sti seats, but I honestly haven't seen a picture of them online other than the pics of what I bought, included a pic. And from what I looked into it, installing JDM seats should have caused issues with the airbag light on the dash and me having to install a resistor to get it off, but everything was pretty much plug and play when I installed them, besides these connectors. So I was thinking maybe the previous owner (not who I bought them from, this was a kid who was parting it out after an accident who bought the car a few months back) did the legwork to get the wires plug and play, and either the seats came with the heating elements or they installed them.
